Garvin Design Group, HNTB, and Thompson Turner Construction joined Clemson Volleyball for a special reveal of the new Team Space and renovated competition court inside Jervey Athletic Center on August 8.

The new Volleyball Team Space is part of the ongoing project at the corner of Perimeter Road and Track Drive near Memorial Stadium that includes the renovation of Jervey Athletic Center and the construction of the new Watt Family Athletic Performance & Wellness Center. The Volleyball Team Space is the first phase of the project to be completed and includes:

  • Custom-built lockers lined in Clemson Purple and divided by tunable accent lights
  • A sophisticated lounge with soft seating, kitchen, and salon
  • A hype tunnel leading from the team space and locker room to the competition space inside Jervey Gym

“We take great pride in partnering with Clemson’s women’s sports teams,” said Liza Brockman, Garvin Design Group Interior Designer. “As Clemson alums ourselves, it’s really special to be part of Clemson Athletics project teams. We love designing spaces that reflect each team’s specific character and energy.”

A dynamic new bulkhead along the north wall of Jervey Gym announces the team’s arrival to the court. The renovated Jervey Gym now boasts new flooring, freshly painted walls, and a ceiling 12 feet higher than before, providing Clemson Volleyball with a glittering new home just in time for the 2024 season.
